About

Who am I?

My name is Ariel Ellis, yes I was named after the Little Mermaid. I was born and raised in Ohio and that is where I currently reside.

For over nine years, I have committed myself to designing, implementing/developing, and improving websites and web-based interfaces as well as digital marketing initiatives. I have now ventured into instructional design because I have always had a love for helping & teaching individuals. I grew up in an educational environment, I have family members who are teachers, professors, principals, & instructors.

I graduated Cum Laude in 2015 from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Technology, a program that allowed me to specialize in interactive media, and also gain print, photography and video skills. I later graduated in 2022 from Bowling Green State University with a Master’s in Education in Instructional Design Technology.

In my spare time I love shopping, traveling, & spending time outdoors with my spunky Labrador Retriever, Carlton.

What are my values?

Accountability

It's my responsibility to deliver my best work. You can definitely hold me accountable.

Reliability

You can rely on me to get work done well and on time.

Respect

I will treat you how I would like to be treated.

Team

Working in a team is always important, it promotes problem-solving and working together.

What Motivates Me?

01

The chance to make an impact

It is important that I can contribute to something that is bigger than myself. I enjoy finding ways to contribute to important projects that provide me with a sense of ownership both in my own work and my overall work environment.

02

Finding innovative solutions

Finding innovative ways of approaching a problem or helping the team solve an issue is a rewarding feeling. I love thinking up fresh solutions or designs. I also like to be challenged to help make them more effective or providing inspiration to help form a new idea.

03

Working with great people in a great culture

Being apart of a great culture is essential, since it acts as a catalyst to innovate, try new things and not to be afraid of failures.
